BongFlix Is Buying Short Films From Bengali Filmmakers
By Trisha Seal ยท
BongFlix is actively acquiring completed short films for the BongFlix YouTube channel and our Bengali entertainment channel on Amazon Prime Video USA. If you are a filmmaker or rights holder with a finished short film, email us at oney@sealglobalholdings.com and let's talk.
Short films can hold an entire world in a few minutes. They can introduce a striking new filmmaker, capture a story that would lose its force at feature length, or bring a distinctive voice to viewers far beyond the film's place of origin. We want to hear from the people who have already done the hard part: making the film.
We are looking for finished work
This invitation is specifically for completed short films. We are not asking for pitches, concepts, works in progress, or scripts in this outreach. Your film should be finished and ready for a conversation about potential acquisition.
Bengali stories and work connected to Bengali life around the world are especially welcome, but we are open to hearing about completed short films of any genre. Drama, comedy, thriller, romance, documentary, experimental work, and films that resist an easy label can all begin with the same thing: a filmmaker reaching out directly.
A direct route to two established channels
BongFlix has served viewers through its Bengali channel on Amazon Prime Video USA for years, alongside the BongFlix YouTube channel. Those channels give us two distinct ways to connect films with viewers: one within Prime Video in the United States, and one through YouTube's global reach.
We are building that programming by finding strong completed work and beginning a direct conversation with the people who control it. That is why this invitation is meant for the filmmaker, producer, production company, or other rights holder who can speak for the film.
You do not need to prepare a formal application or navigate a submission portal. A direct email is enough to introduce yourself and your completed film so we can begin the right conversation with the person who owns or represents the work.
Every film will be considered on its own merits. Reaching out starts a conversation; it does not guarantee acceptance. We are not publishing standard payment figures, ownership terms, exclusivity requirements, deadlines, or other deal conditions in this invitation. Those details belong in a direct discussion about the individual film.
