The BongFlix YouTube channel gives short films a direct path to viewers around the world. Our established Bengali entertainment channel on Amazon Prime Video USA offers a second potential home for selected work. Together, these channels allow us to keep building a place for Bengali stories while giving filmmakers an opportunity to extend the life of a finished film.

We are looking for completed work because the film itself should lead the conversation. A finished cut lets us understand the storytelling, performances, visual language, pacing, and emotional impact as the audience would experience them.

What We Want to See

We welcome completed short films from Bengali filmmakers in any genre. Drama, comedy, romance, thriller, documentary, animation, horror, science fiction, experimental work, and films that cross categories are all worth introducing. Bengali-language films are central to this call, and stories reflecting Bengali life across the world are welcome.

There is no single ideal running time, but the film should be a reasonably concise short rather than a feature. It must be fully edited and ready to watch. This outreach is not for scripts, pitch decks, trailers, rough cuts, unfinished projects, or ideas still seeking production.

Filmmakers, producers, production companies, and other rights holders who can speak for a completed short film are invited to contact us. You do not need representation, major festival recognition, awards, or a long list of previous credits. The important things are that the film is finished, that you can share it for consideration, and that you are authorized to begin the conversation about it.
