BongFlix Is Still Buying Short Films From Filmmakers
By Trisha Seal ยท
BongFlix is continuing to acquire completed short films for the BongFlix YouTube channel and our Bengali entertainment channel on Amazon Prime Video USA. If you are a filmmaker or rights holder with a finished short film sitting on a hard drive, email us at oney@sealglobalholdings.com and let's talk.
This call stays open. A short film does not need a festival run or a distributor attached before we hear about it. It needs to be finished, and it needs someone who can speak for it to reach out directly.
Completed work only
We are asking for completed short films, not scripts, treatments, or works in progress. If your film is shot, edited, and ready to watch, that is exactly the stage we want to hear from you at.
Bengali stories and films connected to Bengali life anywhere in the world remain especially welcome. We are also open to strong short films in any language or genre: drama, comedy, thriller, documentary, and work that does not fit neatly into a single category.
Two channels, one direct conversation
The BongFlix YouTube channel gives short films a way to reach viewers around the world through a platform built for discovery. Our Bengali entertainment channel on Amazon Prime Video USA gives selected work a home inside Prime Video in the United States. Together, they give a completed short film two distinct paths to an audience.
We are building that programming one direct conversation at a time. That is why this call is for the filmmaker, producer, or other rights holder who controls the film, not a distributor or intermediary speaking on their behalf.
No portal, no application
There is no upload form or submission portal for this call. A direct email describing your film, its runtime, and how we can watch it is enough to start the right conversation with the person who can make a decision.
Every short film is considered on its own merits, and reaching out starts a conversation rather than a guarantee. We are not publishing payment amounts, ownership terms, exclusivity requirements, or deadlines here. Those are matters for a direct discussion once we have watched your film.
A few quick questions
Does my short film need to be in Bengali?
No. Bengali work is especially welcome, but we want to hear about strong completed short films in any language.
Do you accept films that have already screened at festivals or elsewhere?
Yes. A previous festival run or online release does not rule a film out. We are looking at the film itself.
How do I actually reach you?
Email oney@sealglobalholdings.com with a link to or copy of your film, its runtime, and your contact details.
Have a completed short film?
Email oney@sealglobalholdings.com and tell us about it. We are actively acquiring short films for the BongFlix YouTube and Amazon Prime Video USA channels, and we would like to see what you have made.
