How Bongflix Supports Independent Filmmakers
At Bongflix, we believe that great stories deserve to be seen—regardless of budget size or studio backing. That's why we've built a platform specifically designed to empower independent filmmakers creating content in Bengali, Hindi, and English.
Our Mission
To provide independent filmmakers with a fair, transparent, and accessible platform to distribute their films to a global audience, while ensuring they receive the recognition and compensation they deserve.
Global Distribution Through Amazon Prime
As an Amazon Prime Video channel, Bongflix gives independent filmmakers access to one of the world's largest streaming audiences. Your Bengali drama, Hindi thriller, or English documentary can reach viewers across the United States, United Kingdom, and beyond.
This isn't just about streaming—it's about connecting your work with audiences who are actively seeking diverse, quality content. The diaspora audience hungry for authentic regional content, film enthusiasts exploring world cinema, and new viewers discovering hidden gems.
Fair Revenue Sharing
We believe filmmakers should be fairly compensated for their work. Unlike traditional distribution deals that often leave creators with pennies on the dollar, Bongflix offers transparent revenue sharing that puts more money in filmmakers' pockets.
What We Offer

Additionally, we offer flexible licensing arrangements. You retain ownership of your content and can negotiate terms that work for your specific situation.
A Community of Creators
When you join Bongflix, you're not just getting a distribution platform—you're joining a community of independent filmmakers. We facilitate connections between creators, share insights about what's working on the platform, and provide feedback that helps filmmakers grow.
From first-time directors to established indie filmmakers, our community spans across Bengali, Hindi, and English cinema. There's something powerful about being part of a collective that's dedicated to elevating independent voices.
